OUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN GLASHÜTTE

At our manufacturing workshop in Glashütte, every Mühle watch is manufactured with plenty of attention to detail. We can also carry out all service and repair work at our workshop, which is home to both our production department and our very own service department of specially trained watchmakers dedicated to looking after your Mühle watch. Any service and repair work that your watch requires is always carried out by one single service watchmaker, who disassembles the watch and movement, cleans all components, reassembles and regulates the movement and finally checks the watch in accordance with the requirements of our meticulous final inspection.

Leaving no component untouched: Once your Mühle watch has arrived safely at our manufacturing workshop in Glashütte, it will be carefully checked by an experienced master watchmaker to identify its service and repair requirements. This expert not only checks its strap and case but also examines the movement, face, hands and all other components. After this initial inspection, we provide you with a cost estimate for the work. Only once you have confirmed this estimate and placed your service order will we get to work on servicing your watch.

SERVICE WORK ON WATCH MOVEMENTS

Despite the importance of your watch’s appearance, it is a well-known fact that true beauty is found on the inside, which is why our service particularly focuses on the extensive maintenance of the movement inside a Mühle watch. Our service work aims to restore your Mühle watch to its original perfect condition. To achieve this, our service watchmakers carry out a multitude of tasks:

• Removing the movement
• Checking the winding mechanism, escapement, wheel train, motion work and calendar function
• Carrying out service and/or repair work on the movement
• Reassembling the movement, including lubricating all components with oils and greases designed for this specific application
• Regulation: checking and regulating the movement in six positions

SERVICING THE FACE AND CASE

A Mühle service is like a rejuvenating cure for your watch, both on the inside and the outside, where we professionally clean the watch’s case and its stainless steel strap. In addition, a case refurbishment can remove any scratches that may be on the case. The ultimate aim of all aspects of a Mühle service is to restore the original perfect condition of your Mühle watch. To achieve this, our service watchmakers carry out the following tasks:

• Cleaning the case, metal strap, face and hands in an ultrasonic bath
• Refurbishing the case (if requested)
• Restoring metal straps (if requested)
• Replacing worn components (if requested)

We want to ensure that every single Mühle watch leaves our service workshop in an immaculate condition. We therefore carry out all service work with the utmost care and conscientiousness to meet the highest quality standards. We additionally carry out a comprehensive final check, which involves the following tasks:

• Running down the watch twice to check the power reserve and accuracy values • Checking precision when fully wound and after 24 hours with a run-down spring barrel • Checking watertightness • Complete functional test •
A second independent final inspection carried out by a Mühle master watchmaker.
